This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 4 pmβ12 am. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. Its website is tellerslounge.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 54 reviews, which is a strong result for a bar in Grand Rapids and suggests consistent service.

Fantastic cocktail spot. Great feel, great drinks. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable! Try the Oxtail Eggrolls as well, trust me!

Brunch at Tellers in Grand Rapids was easily the highlight of my weekend. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between upscale and relaxed, and the food absolutely delivers. I ordered the wagyu steak and eggs and it was outstanding, cooked perfectly with rich flavor that made it feel like a true treat rather than a typical brunch dish. What really elevated the experience was the service, especially our bartender Noah, who was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. If you are anywhere near downtown Grand Rapids, this spot is worth your time.

Tellers Lounge absolutely nails brunch in a way that feels both elevated and inviting. From the moment you sit down, you can tell this isnβt your typical brunch spot. The menu leans upscale without trying too hard, with dishes that are beautifully presented and thoughtfully balanced. Every plate feels intentional. Rich flavors, fresh ingredients, and just the right level of creativity without losing what makes brunch comforting. Whether youβre going savory or sweet, everything comes out looking like it belongs in a magazine but tastes even better than it looks. The atmosphere adds to the experience. It feels refined but still relaxed enough to actually enjoy yourself. Perfect for a slow weekend brunch where you want something a little more special than the usual eggs and toast. If youβre looking for brunch that feels a step above, Tellers Lounge is one of those rare spots that delivers on both quality and experience.

Two of us sought out Tellers Lounge after reading about it in the Calder News. We opted to sit at the bar and Dominic was our mixologist. My friend ordered from the menu (Ballerβs Paradise - very spirit forward, well balanced sipper as well as a Burnt Offering - tropical notes with layers of flavor). I had a nice conversation with Dominic which lead to two creations being made for me rather than choosing options from the menu of about 10 cocktails. After the description of what I liked, I enjoyed a delicious treat. Looking at the bar wall, very few of the bottles were recognizable which made for a fun tasting adventure. We didnβt order any food this visit. Highly recommend for those who are seeking well mixed, creative cocktails in a classy environment.
